Final Preparation

Your Printable Trip Sheet.

Confirm bank settings, pack the right adapter, save important Chinese addresses and print a low-sensitivity travel summary.

The most stressful travel problems are the boring, preventable ones: the wrong power adapter, or a taxi driver who cannot read your hotel's English name. This trip sheet walks through them before departure — check which plug types your hotels and devices need, save important addresses in Chinese characters, and assemble a printable low-sensitivity travel summary. Work through the checklist section by section, ticking items off as they are done; the printed page is designed to contain only what a stranger could safely see — no account numbers, no passwords, no passport details. Print one copy for your bag and leave one with someone at home. And keep the printed sheet reasonably secure on the road: it concentrates your itinerary in one place, which is exactly why it is useful — and exactly why you should not leave it lying around.

Power adapter

Below are the two-pin Type A and three-pin Type I plug shapes commonly accepted in China. Electricity is 220V / 50Hz.

What to bring

A compact universal adapter covering Type A, C and I is the safest simple choice. Check every charger label for “Input 100–240V.” A plug adapter changes the shape only; it does not convert voltage for a 110V-only device.

Important address in Chinese

Type or scan a Chinese address. We'll translate it and generate a card you can show to drivers.

After you upload a photo or screenshot, we will automatically recognize the address. If possible, crop the image to show only the address.

Review the saved information, then print or save it as a PDF.

On iPhone or iPad, the print screen can be shared or saved to Files as a PDF. This sheet intentionally excludes passport numbers, card numbers and other highly sensitive information.
